ARE YOU OFFICIALLY LICENSED?

Yes! All candles on our website are either officially licensed or made with the express permission of the author. We’re committed to providing support to our authors and will continue to provide transparency for our customers!

WHAT ARE YOUR PROCESSING TIMES? WHEN WILL I GET MY ORDER?

Typically our processing times are 3-5 business days however if there are any delays, we will normally update our announcement bar to reflect the most current processing times.

MY ORDER ARRIVED DAMAGED / BROKEN, WHAT CAN I DO?

Sometimes things are out of our control and we can’t help it! No worries though, if your order arrives damaged, broken or missing, please send us an email with your full name, order number and concern and we’ll be happy to work with you to resolve your issue! If possible, please include pictures in your email so we can submit a claim to the appropriate carrier!

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

Yes! When checking out, you should be able to see the shipping costs for your country. Please note that the customer is responsible for paying any duties/import fees/customs fees associated with their order.

Candle FAQ

WHAT ARE YOUR CANDLES MADE OF?

Our candles are handcrafted using a Vegan Coconut Wax Blend. While it is primarily Coconut wax, there is a bit of Soy wax so if you have allergies, we would not recommend using our candles. We also use fragrance oils that go through stringent testing and are certified “clean” and non-toxic fragrances. These fragrances are a blend of synthetic and essential oils and are safe for children and pets in the home.

WHY DOES MY CANDLE LOOK LIKE IT HAS DISCOLORATION OR OIL/LIQUID SEEPING OUT ON THE TOP?

Discoloration is quite common in scents that use fragrance oils that contain citrus or vanillin notes. Sometimes we use dye in our candles and the natural color of the fragrance oil will change the color a little. This does not affect the quality or burn of the candle. Oil/Liquid that looks like it is seeping out of the top of your candle is quite normal. Coconut Wax is a soft wax and leaving it out in warm places for extended periods of time (such as when in transit/shipping), can cause the candle to soften and the oil to rise to the top. This is completely natural and does not affect the quality or burn of the candle. Please store the candle in a cool area and use as normal.

Book Box FAQ

ARE YOUR PRE-ORDERS OPEN OR LIMITED?

Currently I do a limited amount (since I put these boxes together myself) however if we switch to open pre-orders I will announce it to my newsletter first!

WHAT'S IN YOUR BOOK BOXES?

Special Edition Covers, signed book plates and book specific merch! We may also add some swag every now and then depending on the box! If there’s something you would love to see included in a box, please send me an email with your ideas: info@thebrightsidecandles.com

WHAT IS THE TURNAROUND ON BOOK BOXES?

Because I am the only person who puts together these boxes, our pre-orders are set for 8-10 weeks out. I source all of the merch/swag from other small businesses whenever I can

CAN I USE A DISCOUNT CODE ON BOXES?

Unfortunately not on book boxes! If you use a code on book boxes, your order will be canceled and we will not be responsible if the box sells out before you are able to repurchase.

HOW MANY BOXES CAN I ORDER?

As of right now, I’m limiting the boxes to 1 per person/order/address. Once I am able to do open pre-orders, I may allow more.

Apparel FAQ

WHAT IS THE PROCESSING TIME ON APPAREL?

Typically for apparel, we ask for a 2-3 week turnaround time.

DO YOU SHIP THESE OR A THIRD-PARTY?

Apparel is fulfilled by an on-demand third-party. We don’t have any control over shipping time or fulfillment issues. If you do end up having an issue, please send us an email at info@thebrightsidecandles.com
